Client: P&C and life insurer
A P&C and life insurer entrusted us with taking over the maintenance of three business-critical systems, including its policy administration system and claims management system.
The project began with a comprehensive review of the technology environment.
We assessed the system architecture, source code and technology stack, as well as application security and potential technical risks.
At the same time, we reviewed QA and CI/CD processes together with the available technical documentation.
This allowed us not only to understand the environment we were taking over, but more importantly to properly prepare the transition of responsibility for its ongoing operation.
End-to-end maintenance and development
After taking responsibility for the systems, the scope of our collaboration included both ongoing maintenance and further development.
As part of the project, we delivered:
- Incident, defect and service request management in line with SLA requirements
- New application releases and performance optimization
- QA and DevOps processes
- Regression and performance testing
- User support
- Continuous development
This approach made it possible to combine stable production support with ongoing improvement of the applications.
Stability today. Development for tomorrow.
The transition of all three systems was completed while maintaining business continuity and required SLA levels.
At the same time, the technology assessment and improved operational processes established a strong foundation for further optimization.
This project shows that taking over application maintenance can become much more than simply ensuring continuity of operations it can open the way to further development, optimization and modernization.
